GOKb TIPPs

A GOKb TIPP represents a combo of Title Instance, Package, and Platform. TIPPs describe and assign identifiers the entities that libraries purchase and manage.

Creating a TIPP from the Package record

When creating a TIPP from the Pacakge record, all three components (Title, Package, and Platform) must already exist in GOKb.

  • In GOKb, go to Search>Package.
  • Locate the package you'd like to add a TIPP to.
  • Click on the TIPPs tab.
  • Scroll to the bottom of the screen.
  • Populate the "Title" and "Platform" fields using the type-ahead menus provided.
  • Click "Add."
  • Navigate back to the TIPPs tab.
  • Use the title search within the TIPPs tab to find the TIPP you just added.
  • Open the TIPP record and fill in the details you have available.
