Printing + Searching

Pull slips can be batch printed using the ‘Actions-->Print Pull Slips' command, or printed individually using the 'Print Pull Slips’ command in the Request Flow view.

The command will open a pdf; use your computer's print command to print the slips out to the printer of your choice.

Updating Requests

Once the books have been pulled from the stacks, open each request to update the status.

Requests can be opened from the Supply App view, or the request number can be scanned from the paperwork into the search field.

Scan your local barcode to update the request in ReShare. If NCIP is enabled, an NCIP message will be sent to your ILS to check out the item there. The status will change to Awaiting Shipping, and a new empty field will appear.

Scan the request barcode. This status will change to Shipped. From here, the requesting library will complete the next processing steps.

Completing Requests

When you receive the book back from the borrowing library, open the request from the Supply App view or by searching the request number or local barcode into the search field.

Scan the request barcode to complete the request. Completing the request in ReShare should also trigger an NCIP call to check in the item in your ILS.

Route the book for reshelving according to your local processes.
