1.5.6 Release

Sprint Releases

Several critical issues were coded and a performance patch was added to address problems at Chicago.  Details about the changes in this release can be found on the child pages below.  Database changes are below the table.

System Parameters for the 1.5.6 release

• Added NCIP_ACCEPT_ITEM_NOTICE_INDICATOR – Y - Send notice to patron (default); N - Do not send notice to patron (OLE-7020)
• Added ON_HOLD_NOTICE_REQUEST_TYPE – Recall/Hold Request;Hold/Hold Request;Page/Hold Request (OLE-7020)
• Added ON_HOLD_NOTICE_ITEM_STATUS – ONHOLD (OLE-7020)

Configuration Reminders for the 1.5.6 release:

• The user id for NCIP services must be in a role having permission to create requests.  Suggested role is Circulation Supervisor.
