Full text of error

Publication Title Import does not specify an PublicationTitle column

Description

This is the title of the publication. It is a required column and it cannot be left blank. It is most likely that your data will already contain this information and you can rename an existing column.

Solution

Use the KBART macro

  1. Note that this macro will only work if you are beginning with a KBART formatted file.  It will also rename the other KBART standard columns.
  2. Open the Rename KBART columns to GOKb columns macro.
  3. Copy the code found on the page beginning with the first open bracket and ending with the last close bracket.
  4. In OpenRefine, switch to the Undo/Redo tab.
  5. Click "Apply" and copy the code from the wiki page into the text box.
  6. Click "Perform operations."
  7. Change back to the Errors tab and verify that this error has disappeared.

Rename a column manually

  1. Open the quick resolution menu by clicking on the wrench icon in the upper right corner of the warning message, and selecting "Quick Resolution."
  2. Choose "Rename a column"
  3. A dropdown menu will appear listing all of the columns already in your project.
  4. Choose the one that contains publication titles and click "rename."
  5. The warning message should disappear.
