In this case,the title is the earlier version of a currently published title, Acta Radiologica. Because Sage doesn't include earlier versions of titles on its update lists, we can assume this title was added to GOKb manually by someone doing title history work. You should not delete this title because it is correct and valuable. However, it will continue to produce review tasks each time the package is updated. As you get more comfortable with your package, you may be able to close review tasks for earlier titles with little investigation.

In this scenario, follow the steps below:

- If any content remains with the package, populate the End Date, End Volume, and End Issue fields on the TIPP using the last issue available on the publisher's site to provide this information.

- Set the TIPP status

- to Retired. This will tell other users that this TIPP is no longer available.
- Set the Access End Date to the date the title was discontinued from the package.

A look at this title showed that GOKb had a current TIPP for this title in the "Sage: All Titles" package. The TIPP had open coverage dates. However, it was missing from the latest Sage update file. A notice on the Sage web site for this title said that it was being transferred to another publisher. Sage continued to host past issues of the title, and the last issue available on the Sage web site was the November 2013 issue. The correct action is to close out the TIPP coverage information as described above.
The TIPP has been completely discontinued from its package and no content remains
This scenario can occur for two reasons. First, an aggregator may drop a title from its collection and discontinue all access. Second, a title can transfer to another publisher, and all of its content will be hosted by the new publisher.
In this scenario, follow the steps below:
- Change the TIPP status to retired. This will tell other users that this TIPP is no longer available.
- Leave the coverage dates as is. This will provide a record of what content was available at the time of last access.
Note: If the title is transferring to another publisher, you may wish to use the Title Transfer action to handle all of its TIPPs in bulk and create TIPPs for the new publisher.
