ReShare uses VuFind as the discovery software used to harvest and index the contents of the shared inventory directly.
External software applications such as ILLiad or Rapido can make use of the VuFind Search API to search a shared inventory and get results on whether a title being requested in that system exists and is lendable in ReShare.
