ERROR: Unable to create item with barcode XXX as it already exists in inventory

Description

We occasionally get the error “Unable to create item with barcode XXX as it already exists in inventory” on a folio system, we need to deal with this in a better way at a minimum cancel the hold on the supplier or try createing it with a different barcode

Attached are the requests currently in this state, generated by itemAlreadyExists.sql

You do realise you can see the reports on all these error scenarios in the admin UI at https://libraries-dcb-hub-admin-scaffold-uat-git-production-knowint.vercel.app/serviceInfo/requestErrors, if you then click on the title in then lists you all the associated requests with that error.

I favor the suggestion of cancelling the supplier side hold and would also suggest logging a non-fatal error for customer support to further investigate. To prioritize the backlog, I would like to understand the frequency of this error from 6/12/24. This seems like something FSE could handle so i can redirect.
