Persist user's data grid settings

Description

Users are able to change data grid attributes, e.g. columns can be shown and hidden, filters can be applied etc. When the user navigates away from the page and returns their changes are lost. Instead the current state of grids should persist throughout the user’s current session. Check this

I think we’ll start here for filters:

Hopefully this approach will also work for column visibility etc. Will evaluate when this ticket is ready to go - expect this to be quite tricky as our filter approach is heavily customised to work with the backend.

 

Performance will also be a big consideration here. and will need testing before and after.
