ReShare 1.0 release notes

Summary: The ReShare 1.0 release is intended to be a minimum viable product that supports requesting and supplying of physical materials among the members of a consortium. The 1.0 release will be suitable for testing and initial implementation, with important enhancements to follow in future releases. Features for the 1.0 release include:

New features

  • OAI-PMH endpoint for shared index metadata

  • Customizable VuFind consortial discovery tool

  • ILS integrations: Aleph

  • Pull slip notification settings

  • Patron notice settings

  • Load balancing using lend-to-borrow ratios

  • Library service statuses

  • Permissions

Operated as a Community Resource by the Open Library Foundation
