Prepare Chart of Accounts
The OLE Chart of Accounts (COA) is a set of interlocking data elements to support find accounting. Together, the elements make up a flexible, robust structure for tracking orders and payments.
Libraries are urged to plan out their fund-accounting needs before migration, so as to take the best advantage of OLE's many options.
This workbook:

contains a list of all the COA fields, and a worksheet for each table, showing the default data that comes with it.
OLE does not include bulk loaders for COA data elements, since the amount of data is relatively small. Sites can either do direct table inserts, or can create their COA data elements through the OLE user interface. This setup needs to be done before other records that contain accounting data, like purchase orders, can be loaded.
