Kuali OLE intends to compile multiple resources through its relationships with Kuali projects, design partner HTC, IU UX team, and the experience of experienced Core Team Business Analysts and library Discovery SME's.
Tips for Getting Started
- Brainstorm what you like and don't like about current applications
- Bring screen captures- highlight important changes you'd like to add
- Start with storyboarding workflow and what pages need to be together to complete a workflow or function: 1,2,3,4
- After identifying pages required, start simply with a data inventory for each page
- Now the fun begins- how do you want to organize the information? Drop-downs, tips, previews, lookups, menus...
- Annotate wireframe mockups using the tool of your choice- Balsamiq, Dreamweaver/Front Page, napkins, whiteboards (take a pic!)
