How to Attach Files to Jira Issues

Using the Test Results Dialog

• In the Test Results Dialog box, look for the "Attachment" section.
• Click Choose Files.

• Navigate to Your File and Select
  • The file selection dialog box will differ in appearance depending upon which operating system you use. The one pictured above is from Windows 7.

• Success
  • Once the file has successfully been attached, it should appear in the Test Results Dialog box.

Other Shortcuts to File Attachment

• More Options > Attach Files
  • In the menu bar near the top of the screen, look for the "More Options" selection. Click to open it, and select "Attach Files" from the drop-down menu that appears.
  • You will be presented with the same file selection dialog box as in the Test Results Dialog method.

• Attachments > Manage Attachments > Attach More Files
